    • These medications are for people who have tried that, sometimes dozens or hundreds of times and have continuously failed to achieve sustained results. If they could do it through exercise - they already would have.

  • Mechanistically, TOFA inhibits the lipogenic enzymes acetyl-CoA carboxylases 1 and 2 (ACC1/2) and activates the Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptors alpha and delta (PPARα/δ), key regulators of energy expenditure and lipid metabolism gene expression programs. 

    So TOFA stops your cells from making new fat and at the same time flips on the switches that tell your cells to burn fat for energy.

    I mean, how does it just "burn" more without causing some other side effect like energy burn off sounds crazy to me, but I'm not even an amateur chemical scientist, so I'll just be interested to see where this goes, because GLP-1's do stop working after some time.
