Terms of Service

Effective date: May 19, 2026

Welcome to Chirpper. By accessing or using Chirpper (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Chirpper. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. Chirpper is invite-only: access requires a valid invite token issued by an existing Chirpper member. There is no open self-registration.

2. Your Account and Identity

When you accept an invite, Chirpper generates a cryptographic token and recovery keyphrase that constitute your identity on the platform. You are responsible for keeping your token and keyphrase confidential. Chirpper is not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your credentials.

You may use a pseudonym (mask) as your display name. You are not required to use your real name. However, your account must represent a real individual human being — accounts operated by bots, automated scripts, organizations, or entities acting as proxies for non-human principals are prohibited.

3. The TrustChain™ and Invite System

Chirpper’s core mechanic is the TrustChain™: a transparent chain of invites that traces every account back to a human inviter. When you invite someone, you are staking your TrustRank™ on that person’s behavior. If they violate these Terms, the damage propagates back up the invite chain — including to you and to those who vouched for you.

Chirpper may rescind invites at its discretion. A rescinded invite degrades the trust score of the inviting chain. There are no manual bans per se; the primary moderation primitive is invite rescission.

4. Content Rules

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is generated by artificial intelligence and presented as original human-authored content;
  • Is illegal under applicable law, including content that infringes copyright, constitutes defamation, harassment, or threats;
  • Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — such content will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities;
  • Is spam, unsolicited commercial solicitation, or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
  • Attempts to impersonate another person or entity in a misleading way;
  • Attempts to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or otherwise circumvent Chirpper’s systems.

Chirpper does not actively pre-moderate content but reserves the right to remove content and rescind the associated invite chain upon discovery of violations.

5. License Grant

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content on Chirpper, you grant Chirpper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content as necessary to operate the Service. This license terminates when your content is deleted from the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

Chirpper, TrustChain™, TrustRank™, and associated logos and trade dress are the intellectual property of Chirpper. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use Chirpper’s trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

7. DMCA / Copyright

If you believe content on Chirpper infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the contact address below including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on Chirpper; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized; and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CHIRPPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHIRPPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICE; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

Chirpper may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
