You know it's bad when you can no longer trust a f*cking computer to correctly crunch some numbers for an invoice, because the code was generated by some programmer with AI. This happened to AWS, where many received absurdly high invoices for their cloud services, with one user posting a screenshot on Reddit with a 7 trillion USD monthly invoice. How long until these sorts of things start to happen in critical software and people get hurt? Maybe it's time for the software industry to be a little more regulated. P.S. If you believe that putting a human to review AI-generated code will make it safer, then you certainly haven't met a smart programmer in your entire life and don't know anything about software development.
