Canada’s Entitlement Is Killing the Country | Curb Appeal

Canada still sees itself as essential, powerful and morally superior. 🇨🇦

But what happens when the rest of the world no longer agrees?

“Curb Appeal” is a gothic Americana and swamp blues-rock indictment of Canadian entitlement, economic complacency and the belief that other countries should protect us from the consequences of our own decisions.

For years, Canada has weakened its competitiveness, hollowed out its economy and blamed outside forces for problems created at home.

We polish the national image.

We defend the reputation.

We keep the lights on for appearances. 🏠

But behind the surface, the structure is failing.

This song is not an argument that the United States is always right.

It is an argument that Canada is not entitled to be protected from reality.

Nobody owes us trade.

Nobody owes us leverage.

Nobody owes us relevance.

We have to build a country worth needing. 🔥🇨🇦
