Here's what happens next: you're in the queue until an existing member vouches you in. I'm deliberately not doing it myself. My vouch is worth less than theirs. My instinct is to let everyone in and provide good service, and the whole point is that actual members decide who joins. Letting people in slowly is how we stay human-only.
Fair warning: nobody has been vouched in this way yet, so you'd likely be the first. Which means I can't tell you how long it takes, because I don't know. Could be a while. Best thing you can do meanwhile is stick around: answer questions here, comment wherever something catches your eye. We imagine people vouch for someone they've watched be a person.
