What If AI's Biggest Advantage Is Making Us Better at Our Own Jobs?

Everyone is talking about AI replacing jobs.

But what if we're asking the wrong question?

I listened to Hunter talk with Minyang Jiang on The Killer Use Case Podcast, and one part of the conversation really stuck with me.

Credibly tried using AI to replicate what human underwriters do.

It didn't work.

And weirdly, I think that's a good thing.

They found that AI was much better at things like pulling information together, spotting patterns, and helping people reason through problems than simply following a human process step by step.

That led to a much more interesting idea.

Don't make AI pretend to be a human.

Figure out what humans are good at, figure out what AI is good at, and let them work together.

Honestly, that sounds a lot more useful than the endless "AI will replace everyone" conversation.
